My toddler has only ate a palm size of macaroni and cheese and a few chicken nuggets and its 2 pm! My Vegetable Dill Dip is quick and simple with a few surprise ingredients!

I feel like I am failing my family at times when I am not helping them to eat healthfully. Especially as a Registered Dietitian, I understand the power of the antioxidants we get in ample produce intake! A hectic lifestyle can throw a wrench in my good intentions! We are seeing an obesity epidemic in the United States with children developing disease states that used to be uncommon for them such as Type 2 Diabetes. We as parents need to and CAN MODEL healthy lifestyle by what food choices we eat and what we serve them! Our youth will learn from our example. This is a strong “why” for choosing health! This Vegetable Dill Dip with Essential Oils will help you increase produce intake in your family and takes minutes to make.
Vegetable Dill Dip with Essential Oils
Dill Dip Ingredients:
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 cup Mayo
  • 2 T Minced Onion
  • 1 tsp seasoning salt
  • 1 T parsley flakes
  • 2 Drops Dill oil

Directions

  • Mix all ingredients and refrigerate over night.
  • I chose to also add a drop of lemon oil and  1/2 tsp diced fresh dill
