The holiday season is my utmost favorite time of year! I love the aromas, flavors and memories to be made! Sausage & Cranberry Stuffing is one of my “must-haves” this season! Unfortunately, chaos accompanies this beautiful season. I have learned that prepping my food and even freezing portions of my meals in advance can make celebrating the holidays that much simpler. See how we can make a holiday staple simple and ready in advance!
2 small boxes of stuffing mix
1/4 cup Dried cranberries
1 pound of Sage premium pork sausage
1/3 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup butter (YUM) *can omit
1. Mix raw sausage with stuffing mix in a bowl.
2. Cut up celery and add to the mixture.
3. Add dried cranberries.
4. Bake stuffing per box directions in a Pyrex dish .
Using Hefty freezer storage bags, place completed stuffing in bag. It can be frozen and reheated within one month saving you time when the holidays come your way. To reheat and prepare add a pat of butter and reheat in a baking dish at 325 degrees. If it seems a bit dry, just add a touch of water or broth to add moisture back in.
