The joy you see on your children’s face when they receive a new toy is heartwarming. What I love even more is when I can find toys that not only express my love for them but my love of learning! Gift giving season is upon us, but even special occasions and birthdays are all great reasons to find toys that inspire knowledge.

We were so thrilled when our Lakeshore box came in the mail! My little guy was beaming with excitement as he opened his surprise box! My middle child, especially, is one that definitely is more of a hands on learner. I have watched him engage so much better through the years when he can play, pretend and learn “hands on”.

What I love about Lakeshore is you can find toys and activities that center on one of their interests yet at the same time teach them counting, patterns, colors and motor skills. The Create and Design Drill Kit was just the perfect find for my little guy!

This Drill Kit has offered hours of independent entertainment as well as peace and QUIET….which this mom of three desperately needs HA! It has been a perfect toy for all my children and is intended for ages 3-6 years old. Not only to they get the closest thing to a working drill of their own they get to imagine and design their own creations.

There are so many fun, affordable and educational toys to enjoy! Another toy that teaches colors and creativity is these Picasso Tiles. Below are a few of our favorites as well!

Enjoy browsing and pondering the gift of learning! Dovidenia. XO
