Dutch Oven Chili

An easy and comforting ditch oven classic meal.

  • 2 cans beans navy, kidney and chickpeas are good
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/4 c diced onion
  • 1/4 c diced tomato
  • 1 packet chili seasoning packet, pinch or salt and garlic salt
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic


  1. Cook your ground beef in a skillet until browned.

  2. Add in the cans of beans with the liquid and ALL the other ingredients. Stir and let simmer on low for 15-30 min with lid on - stir every so often.

  3. Serve with cheese and sliced jalapeƱos and a side of corn bread. (We didn't do anything fancy just a boxed cornbread and it was still yummy with butter and honey on the side).
